Captain Antonis has graduated from the Hellenic Marine Academy of Ydra as a captain and is in charge of Almyra for the last two years. He started his career on commercial vessels and over the past 25 year has been in yachting as a captain on a number of yachts as : M/Y ISMINI 36 m (1980-82), M/Y TYCOO 24 m (1986-89) owned br the Prime minister of Turkey, ADMIRAL 22m.(1989-93), M/Y AEGEAN FALCON 24m (1993-97), M/Y TATABOO 110ft AKHIR (1997-2001).
Cpt Antonis is a sailsman of great experience. He has sailed yachts around the world and has exceptional knowledge of Greek waters. He will safely take you to unspoilt coves or lively islands depending on your desire. He speaks English and Italian.
Cpt Antonis firmly believes that the hallmark of a successful crew is the happiness of the guests.
SAILOR- ENGINEER
Raoul Ernesto, Chilean, Age 44 - Married-3 children
Raoul is of Chilean origin and a sailor with great experience, as he has been sailing for more than 25 years on both commercial vessels and yachts. He has been in the Greek yachting industry since 1985 and with Almyra for the past eight years. Prior to Almyra he was on the 36 metre yacht M/Y TOXOTIS and M/Y VAGABONDO. He speaks fluently Spanish, Italian, Greek and English. He will organise Almyra's water toys for the guests arrange water-ski, jet-ski snorkeling or fishing and assist the Captain in sailing Almyra.
CHEF
Giorgio Vicemco Qiqi, Italian, Age 37, Single
Giorgio is of Italian origin. He has graduated from the Italian school of Chefs and has worked at Hotels in Italy and over the past 8 years as head chef in a number of high quality Italian restaurants in Greece. Giorgio has been with Almyra for the past eight years. Giorgio will cater for high quality Greek, Italian, French and International cuisine on board Almyra, organise a barbecue on a sandy beach, arrange your selection of fine wines and will tailor the menu to your desire and requirements. Giorgio is a certified skipper and speaks fluently English, Italian and Greek.
Giorgio won the Best Taste Award during the Chef's competition in the 2003 International Yachting Symposium.
STEWARD
Eusebio De Leon, Philippino, Age 28 - Married - 1 child
Eusebio is from the Philippines and he has graduated from the School of Stewards - Sailors of Philippines and has been familiar with working as steward since the studying years. Eusebio has been with Almyra for he past four years. Prior to joining Almyra's crew he worked in Hotels in the Philippines and also in the catering industry. He speaks English. Eusebio is a pleasant character and a hard working person providing excellent service to the guests of Almyra and ensuring their wishes are fulfilled.
