Captain Nicholas graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Captain Class B Diploma. He also holds Certificates of General Operator of Global Maritime, Arpa Radar, Operator of Automatic Radar Plodder Aids, Panic Management, Medical Care On Board ship, “all about Satellite Aids”, as well as ISPS Diploma. He holds proficiency in survival crafts and rescue boats, advanced fire fighting, proficiency in medical first aid as STCW 95 require. Captain Nicholas has 19 years of experience on various yachts. He speaks fluent English and moderate Spanish. He enjoys fishing, all water sports, and music. Captain Nicholas is famous for having served on board our M/Y “O’Pari” for the last 7 years with great success and now has taken over the company’s newest yacht O’Ceannos where he will continue his career. He is 45 years old and married with 2 children.
Chief Officer – Capt. George Mousseris
Capt-George graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropirgos and holds a Captain Class C Diploma. She also holds all Certificates according to IMO, such as Advanced Fire Fighting, and Life Saving Appliances, Crisis Management, Medical Care on Board Ship, Passenger Safety, as well as high speed craft operator licence. He is certified in the use of survival crafts and rescue boats, advanced fire fighting, emergency procedures, proficiency in medical first aid as STCW 95 requirements. Capt-George has 9 years of experience on Cruise Liners and has sailed around the world. He speaks fluent English and enjoys all water sports, Tug boats and pleasure yachts.
Chef – Nicholas Perlegis
Nicholas is a graduate of the National Hotel and Tourism University. He has been a Chef in Five Star Hotels in Germany and Greece for the past 21 years. He specializes in French, Greek and Mediterranean Cuisine. He is also teaching in a chef school during the winter season. He speaks German fluently and has knowledge of French and English. His hobbies include cooking, reading, and listening to music. Nicholas was also on board M/Y “O’Pari” for the last 7 years, is 46 years old and single.
Engineer – Christos Kallergis
Christos is a fully certified engineer by the Greek Mercantile Marine Ministry and holds an Engineer class B Diploma. He also holds certificates for Advanced Safety
onboard, STCW 95, safety of oil tanker / cow certificate, life saving and fire fighting training as well as RO-RO passenger diploma. Christos has 22 years of experience
on various yachts as an engineer. Moreover, he has a Fast-boat handler’s permit. He speaks fluent English and Spanish. Christos enjoys reading, sports and the opera.
He is 46 years old and single and has been with the O’Pari for the past 3 years.
Chief Steward – Mentis Nikolaos
Nikos holds a Class A Steward certificate and has served on board various cruise ships and fine motor yachts including “Stella Solaris”, “Stella Oceanis”, “Royal
Odyssey”, and “Olympia Voyager”. He speaks both English and Greek and is a willing and tireless person with outstanding service skills that are carried out in a
discrete and proficient manner. It is Nikos’ priority to tend to his guests’ needs with outstanding results and excellently perform his duties during demanding cruises.
Nikos is 33 years old and single.
Assistant Steward – Margarita Bimba
Margarita is 32 years old and has twenty years of experience in first class hotel service. She has worked in many fine restaurants throughout Greece including most
islands. She is discrete yet attentive and goes out of her way to please the clients on board. Her attention to finest details and cleanliness make her an excellent stewardess. She also enjoys babysitting and is an ideal person to take care of children.
Assistant Stewardess – Victoria Gromchenko
Victoria holds a Stewardess diploma from the Maritime College as well as the Academy of Ukraine. She is highly experienced having served as a waiter in a various cruise liners throughout the world and guarantees to keep a smile on clients’ faces while on board. Victoria has been with the O’Pari for 2 years and continues to ensure that the highest level of service is offered on board the O’Ceanos. She speaks excellent English, is 26 years old and single.
Assistant Steward – Mr. Oleksandr Ruban
Oleksandr graduated from the Marine College of Ukraine. He enjoys a unique experience in yachting and cruising. He has worked in reputable shipping companies such as Superfast Ferries and Carnival Cruise lines. Oleksandr likes to be called ‘Sasha’ by his friends and colleagues. He speaks fluent English, Ukrainian and Russian, is 26 years old and married without children. His greatest passion is yachting and traveling by sea.
Bosun – George Tsepas
George has worked on various private and charter yachts for more than 20 years. George has also been on board the O’PARI since 1998. He is extremely qualified in every aspect of yachting and can be an excellent water-sports instructor. He holds certificates for personnel survivor techniques, elementary first aid, proficiency in
survivals and rescue boats and fast rescue boats. Moreover, he is fully licensed to operate speed boats. After 5 years aboard ocean-going vessels, Greek waters are
now his home. George speaks English fluently and enjoys listening to music and reading. George is 35 years old and is married with one child.
Able Seaman – Lambros Kefalas
Labros is 26 and graduated from the Technical Lyceum with a concentration in financial management. He has 2 years of experience on passenger and tourist vessels and 2 years in the Special Army Forces. He holds certificates forpersonnel
survival techniques, fire prevention and fire fighting, elementary first aid and Personal safety and social responsibilities.
Able Seaman – Mr. Emanuel Tzenis
Emmanuel graduated from the Marine College of Athens. He has a good experience
in yachting, having worked for two years within ‘Apopolarity’ company and another
five years within the charter yacht ‘Le Vie’. Thanks to his experience within
International European yachting companies, he has traveled a great deal, including a
stay of one and a half years in the USA for professional reasons. His passion is the
sea, water sports, yachting seminars in particular and cruising in general. |
