Captain Dimitris graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Captain Class A¢ Diploma. Captain Dimitris began his career as Captain on commercial ships, where he gained extensive sea-experience of world cruising areas. After years in commercial boats, he got involved in the yachting industry. Prior to joining Alexandra, he Captained M/Y AVENTURA, M/Y MIANDONOS K, M/Y ACAJOO and our M/Y ALEXANDRA K. Captain Dimitris has been onboard ALEXANDRA since 2004 and is known for his high level of expertise and professionalism in the luxury yacht industry. Capt. Dimitris has more than 21 years of experience at sea – the last 16 years as a Captain, and has sailed the West and East Med and Caribbean. With an extensive knowledge of the Greek Waters, Captain Dimitris knows all the secluded bays where guests can enjoy the dramatic surroundings or can find the perfectly calm waters and the safest exclusive anchorages. Captain Dimitris holds the Ocean Master¢s Certificate for yachts up to 2500 Grt., Radio General Operator (GMDSS), ARPA / RADAR, Medical Care on board, Tanker & LPG carriers safety cert, Ro/Ro & Passengers ships safety, radiotelephone operator, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, Certificate of training in RADAR plotting, the use of RADAR & the use of Navigation Aids, ISPS Certificate (International Ship & Port Security – Against Piracy & Terrorist Activities) (Decca, Loran, Omega, D/F, Satellite navigation - GPS). He speaks fluent English and enjoys fishing, water sports, diving, music and cinema. He is 45 years old and married with two children.
Chief Officer – Evangelos Bailas

Vagelis is 32 years old and single. Vangelis is a graduate of the Greek Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Captain Class B¢ Diploma. He began his career at sea onboard commercial ships and later joined the yachting industry as Captain on various motor sailers and motor yachts, the latest as chief officer onboard M/Y WHISPERS. He has been onboard ALEXANDRA since 2007. He holds the Radio General Operator (GMDSS), Ro/Ro & Passenger Ship Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, ISPS Certificate (International Ship & Port Security), and a speedboat license. His love for the sea and for all water related activities enable him to offer an array of activities with his very competent water sports orientated deck crew. Vagelis enjoys diving and he would be more than happy to answer all questions related to safety and bridge onboard ALEXANDRA. Vangelis speaks fluent English.
Chief Engineer - George Argiris
Greek
George is a graduate of the Greek Merchant Marine Academy and holds an Engineer Class A¢ Diploma. He has sailed around the world on commercial ships for 27 years. Moving into the mega yacht industry has provided George with the opportunity of sharing his proud, fond experience of engineering and looking after the safety of the yacht and all aboard. He started his career on yachts onboard M/Y ALEXANDER. George joined ALEXANDRA in 2002 when she was first delivered to Greece. He holds the following Certificates and Licenses: Ro/Ro & Passenger Ship Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, ISPS Certificate (International Ship & Port Security). He joins us to compliment this department and to ensure that Alexandra runs at her full potential at all times. He speaks fluent English. George is 51 years old and married. George loves to spend his free time with his family. He enjoys theatre and music.
2nd Engineer-Ioannis Minogiannis

Yannis is a graduate of the Greek Merchant Marine Academy and holds an Engineer Class B¢ Diploma. His career onboard commercial ships lasted a lengthy period of 10 years until he discovered yachting and decided to switch to the luxury marine industry. He began his yachting career onboard ALEXANDRA, where he has been onboard since 2004. He also holds Certificates in Ro/Ro & Passenger Ship Safety, and Life Saving & Fire Fighting. Yannis enjoys having charterers onboard and working with the array of sports equipment. He speaks fluent English. Yiannis is 36 years old and married.
Chef – Panagiotis Palatos

Panagiotis is a graduate of the National Hotel and Tourism University in Greece and of the National Hotel and Tourism University in Germany. Before discovering the yachting industry, he served as a Sous Chef in several five star hotels and restaurants in Greece and in Germany. He started his career on yachts onboard M/Y TURAMA in 2006. He has also been awarded with Gold and Silver Medals during several Chef Competitions in Greece. Panagiotis knowledge of world cuisine is varied and extensive, from Mediterannean and Asian to Japanese. Panagiotis can cater to each individual¢s dietary needs, from preparing Kosher food to specific diets. No matter where the yacht is cruising, Panagiotis has the knowledge and experience to source the finest ingredients to prepare his culinary creations, which are specifically tailored to the clients¢ needs. Panagiotis will remain for the second season onboard ALEXANDRA and is keen to present his guests with gastronomic extravagances. He speaks fluent English and German. Panagiotis is 36 years old and married with two children.
Chief Stewardess –Zinovia Papadopoulos

Jeny holds a Bachelor¢s degree from the Geneve Academy in the business administration field. Further to completing a university degree, she holds English and French language diplomas and a Certificate in English Commercial Correspondence. In addition, she has attended numerous seminars in relation to her studies. She began her career as reception supervisor for SUPERFAST FERRIES and later became a public relations manager and committee member for the Olympic Games in Athens and other organized events. She was head hostess at MTS OCEAN MAJESTY, prior to joining the yachting industry. She has been chief stewardess onboard M/Y RAGAZZA, M/Y O¢MEGA, and M/Y O¢NEIRO. She joined the crew of ALEXANDRA in spring of 2010 and became familiarized with the yacht. Jeny is extremely good at providing exceptional services. Jeny¢s hospitality and communicative skills are second to none and she prides herself on maintaining the highest levels of service at all times. Jeny looks forward to receiving guests onboard ALEXANDRA and strives to provide the best service possible. She holds Certificates in Life Saving & Fire Fighting appliances and is CPR certified. She speaks excellent English, French, Italian and has basic knowledge of German and Arabic. Jeny is 44 years old and single.
Assistant Stewardess –Martha Vourlou

Martha followed her brother¢s footsteps and joined the yachting industry. She has worked as a stewardess on various charter yachts for over 7 years. Martha joined ALEXANDRA in 2008, being a great help and support to the Chief Stewardess. She has a very cheerful personality and hopes to make all guests¢ stay onboard an enjoyable one. She speaks English and loves sailing. Martha is 34 years old.
Assistant Stewardess - Georgia Bairamidi

Georgia started her career on yachts onboard ALEXANDRA in 2004. After completing further stewardess service courses Georgia is highly accomplished in making the guests¢ time onboard a delight. In addition to providing guests with a high level of service with a big smile, Georgia also has an energetic and positive attitude, all of which make her a valuable asset to the service team of ALEXANDRA. She holds a Certificate in Life Saving & Fire Fighting appliances. She speaks English. Georgia is 26 years old and single.
Assistant Steward– Markos Alexopoulos

Markos is a graduate of the Tourism Academy and holds a Steward¢s Diploma. He has worked onboard cruise ships & luxury yachts for the past 10 years. He started his career in the yachting industry in 2008 onboard our ALEXANDRA K, CRN 42m and he joined the team of Alexandra during winter 2009. He is extremely polite and professional and guarantees impeccable service for his guests. Markos¢ pleasant, warm, and accommodating personality ensures that all guests will receive the best of his service at all times while onboard. Markos¢ smile makes all guests feel welcome and at home. Markos is willing to work for every guest¢s needs, which is why a lot of times guests look for his company and his smart sense of humor. He holds Certificates in Life Saving & Fire Fighting appliances and RO / RO Passenger. He speaks fluent English. Markos is 30 years old.
Bosun - Stefanos Davelis

Stefanos is 48 years old and holds a Bosun¢s License. Stefanos started his sea carrier onboard commercial ships and has over 20 years experience in various private and charter yachts. Stefanos was onboard M/Y ALEXANDER prior to joining ALEXANDRA. He has been onboard Alexandra since 2002. He holds Certificates in Ro/Ro & Passenger Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, and a Speedboat License. Stefanos welcomes the opportunity to instruct or assist in all water sports provided onboard Alexandra. He speaks English and during his free time he enjoys reading, listening to music, and travelling.
Able Seaman – Manolis Housakos

Manolis holds a Skipper Class C¢ License. He also holds Certificates in Ro/Ro and Passenger Safety, Life Saving & Fire Fighting, and a Speedboat License. Manolis has over 17 years of experience onboard various yachts such as M/S HERMINA and M/Y PROTON. Manolis joined ALEXANDRA in 2002. Manolis¢ wealth of knowledge and skill in the water make him a valuable part of the deck team. He speaks English and Spanish. Manolis is 41 years old and single.
Able Seaman – Ioannis Davelis
Greek
Yannis started working on yachts at a very young age and discovered yachting through his father who owned one. Since then he decided that he wanted to continue in the industry and moved on to luxury yachts. He joined the crew of ALEXANDRA in 2008. He is a hard worker and his love for the sea and the yachts proved him to be a valuable member of ALEXANDRA¢S permanent crew. Yannis is always willing to share his skills in watersports with all guests. He holds a Life Saving Certificate. Yannis speaks fluent English. He is 24 years old and single.
